Can anyone help with the identification of the two butterflies / moths in the photograph? I think the one on the right may be Meadow Brown but I have no idea about the other.

Yep, you’re right about the meadow brown. The other is also a butterfly; it’s a skipper, though I’m not 100% which one from the pic. I’m sure someone who knows about these things will be able to identify it!
