On Monday 3 February the survey was carried out in the usual four fields. The results were:
- Big Meadow: 15 Common Snipe and 5 Jack Snipe
- School Pond: 24 Common Snipe
- Hay Meadow: 5 Common Snipe
- Upper Sowerholme: 2 Common Snipe and 1 Woodcock.
So a total of 46 Common Snipe and 5 Jack Snipe.
We also saw a kestrel hovering over Big Meadow, probably hunting voles.
