The contract for building our storage shed was signed this evening (February 28th) and the builder starts work on Monday (4th). We have agreed with him that, as a cost saving measure, from time to time we will provide volunteer labour to undertake straightforward but labour intensive tasks such as shifting rubble or cutting the lagging boards. I am thus asking people to let me know if they will be on a short list for me to contact if the builder gets in touch. It is likely to be short notice so I will need telephone numbers. Clearly adding your name to the list does not imply that you are under any obligation to be available at any given time.
