The barley was harvested on July 26th. The machine has a 3m wide rotary blade which was quite a challenge to get round our field especially between the beetle bank and the margin.
Then on Thursday 27/07 Anne Fenwick and I saw a roe deer walking across the stubble and into the margin by the Long Pads. The light was failing and it was too far away to get a photo
