Volunteering

The Fairfield Association is run entirely by volunteers, and we welcome volunteers of all abilities and backgrounds. Every role matters equally, and we’ll help you find something that suits your interests, skills, and the time you have to give.

Some of us are out in all weathers with muddy boots. Others bake cakes, write newsletters, or manage accounts from home.

Whatever you choose, you’ll be contributing to a much-loved community space – and learning new skills, meeting people, and, hopefully, having fun while you do it.

Volunteer in the Nature Reserve

Hands-on outdoor work – clearing vegetation, hedge-laying, maintaining paths and ponds – as part of our regular work parties in the Orchard and Nature Reserve.

Volunteer in other ways

Help with fundraising, events, cake-making, newsletters, admin, and other behind-the-scenes work that keeps the Association running.
