I wanted to let you know that whilst these sightings were on the other side of the canal, I am guessing you may see these on the reserve so keep your eyes peeled!
I live on Haverbreaks – across from the reserve. I have in the past week or two had some rare visitors in the garden, goldcrest, fieldfare, red wing, bullfinch, a kingfisher, a male black cap and this morning a hawfinch.
Thought I’d let you know as I’m sure they’ll also appear on the reserve.
