Minibeast Hunt (Previously Pond Dipping) at Fairfield Nature Reserve

This event is organised by the North Lancashire Wildlife Group (NLWG).

Please note this was originally intended to be a pond dipping event, but due to the ponds drying out, it will now be a minibeast hunt in the Flora Field margins to look for plants and minibeasts.

The time and meeting place is the same

The event is free and open to all.

Children very welcome

Children accompanied by an adult are very welcome, but because we are exploring the Nature Reserve, no dogs are allowed.

Strong footwear is recommended.

If possible bring a smart phone with the i-Naturalist app installed to help identify and record what you see. Experts will be on hand to help.
