About the Triangle
Aldcliffe Road Triangle is a small community green space between Aldcliffe Rd and the Lancaster Canal. It is a former builder’s and boat maker’s yard, which fell into disrepair in the early 2000s.
The Fairfield Association leased the site from the City Council, and its Friends of the Triangle group repaired the workshop building, demolished other buildings, installed paths, raised beds, and a bench. The raised beds are planted with edibles including fruit bushes, fruit trees, vines, and herbs. Find out more.
